CLEAVERS - Clivers,
Goose Grass (Galium aparine)
Nutrients
A rich source of
calcium, copper, iodine and sodium.
Usage
Internally for skin
diseases and rashes, urine infections and reduction of soft swellings and fluid retention.
Calcium is essential for bone, hoof and coat maintenance.
Feeding
40 to 50 grams added to
the feeds daily for an average 500kg 16.2hh horse (adjust rate up or down for
larger or smaller animals) Best divided between 2 feeds about 12 hours
apart if possible. 1kg will last an average 500kg horse about 20 to 25
days
A MIX FOR GENERAL SKIN
CONDITION OF BURDOCK, CLEAVERS, MARIGOLD AND NETTLE
Mix 1kg of each herb
together and feed at the rate of 30 or 40g for a 500kg horse daily, best in 2 halves.
1kg of mix will last an average 500kg horse about 25 to 30+ days.
