HOOF EXPRESS

Back To Bone, Hoof, Joint & Muscles

HOOF EXPRESS is the registered Pegasus Health name for Magical (Calsorb, IHP-Ca) from Indian

Herbs International

An Ayurvedic Herbal Formula which uses pure herbal ingredients to provide at food grade the Biotin, Calcium, Phosphorus and Magnesium needed for the healthy formation and maintenance of bone, hair, hoof and tooth.  Whilst man made chemical compounds provide consentrated elements of nutrition they are not easily used by the body and the majority are eliminated.  Food quality (the best), bio-available or chelated nutrients by comparison are readily used by the body to provide the fuel to do the job in hand and very little is eliminated.  Thus kilo for kilo the latter are more useful and less expensive in use.

In research carried out in India, the use of Hoof Express in pregnant cows over a 3 month period showed significant  improved mineralization of bone tissue, shown by higher calcium, phosphorous & magnesiumcontent.  Copies of the relevant research papers are available from Pegasus Health Ltd on 01279 87 10 33 &  info@pegasushealth.com

Key ingredients Terminalia arjuna, Zingibar officionalis

Feeding 10g per 100kg bodyweight (an ave.16.2h horse = 500kg) best divided between 2 feeds about 12 hours apart. Reduce to 5g per 100kg after 20 days for long term use. Use the 10g rate for pregnant/lactating mares & youngstock up to 2 years.  1kg will last an average 16.2hh horse 20 days when 1st used and 40 days thereafter making it very economical in use.
