FENUGREEK (Trigonella foenum-graecum) (Fabaceae)

This nourishing seed promotes healthy weight gain and is very useful as part of the diet for any horse in poor condition.  It also helps to lower fever, soothes gastritis and gastric ulcer, optimizes lactation and may ease diabetes and lower blood cholesterol levels. Do not feed to pregnant mares. 

Feeding: 5 or 10 grams per 100kg bodyweight (16.2hh is about 500kg) daily divided between 2 feeds about 12 hours apart.  1.5kg will last a 500kg horse about 30 to 60 days
