ECHINACEA augustifolia

Native to North America,
echinacea is one of the world's most important medicinal herbs. Research
shows that it has the ability to raise the body's resistance to bacterial
and viral infections by stimulating the immune system. It can be valuable
in preventing and treating infections such as cold and 'flu, and helps to
heal skin infections such as acne and boils. It is also a good wound
healer.

Alkamides (mostly
isobutylamides), Caffeic acid esters (mainly echinacoside and cynarin),
Polysaccharides, Volatile oil (humulene), Echinolone
Feeding:
40 to 50 grams for a 500kg 16.2hh horse added to feeds daily
best divided between 2 feeds
about 12 hours apart.
500g will last a 500kg horse about 12.5 days.
