ROSE HIP (Rosa canina)

Nutrients

High levels of vitamin C in particular recommend this herb for inclusion in any equine diet.

Usage

Vitamin C plays a part in supporting and optimizing the immune system, the body's natural defence mechanism and therefore is suggested where coughs and colds are a problem, in any case of bacterial or virus infection and as nutritional support for coat, bone and hoof health.  Any veteran or convalescent animal can benefit from the inclusion of rose hips in their diets. Safe under rules

Feeding

Add approximately 30 to 40 grams daily to the feed of an average 500kg 16.2hh horse (adjust rate up or down for smaller or larger animals).  All additives are best fed divided between 2 feeds approx. 12 hours apart if possible.

1kg will last a 500kg horse about 25 to 30+ days  Safe under rules
