This natural electrolyte product is prepared in the Himalayan mountains by heating the Sambar rock salt over a fire with herbs and trace elements until it forms Vit Lavana - salt crystals incorporating the herbs and trace elements.  It can be used dissolved in water or added to feeds and can avoid some of the worries some salt licks can cause.

Feeding: 1, 2 or 3 spoonfuls as required by the amount of hard work done and sweating observed, together with the size of the horse, dissolved in water or added to the feed.
